Art Materials Australia Shipping Policy

Art Materials Australia’s shipping is not just cost-effective but also designed to be straightforward. We offer flat-rate options and free shipping for orders over specific amounts, making getting your art materials easier.

Non-bulky items: Orders under $99 incur a flat-rate shipping fee of $11.30 Australia-wide. Orders over $99 qualify for free shipping within Australia.
Bulky items (e.g., canvas boxes): A flat rate of $40.00 per box applies. For extra-large, heavy boxes over one meter in any direction, a freight charge of $80.00 per box applies. These require specialised handling for efficient and safe delivery.
Mixed orders (bulky and non-bulky items): If a bulky box of canvases is purchased along with an additional item, shipping charges will be calculated as follows: $40.00 or $80.00 per box (depending on size) plus $11.30 for the additional parcel. The box and the parcel will leave the warehouse via two different freight companies—commercial freight for the canvas box and Australia Post for the additional item.
Western Australia – Bulky Orders: Bulky orders to Western Australia may incur additional freight charges due to the location. However, we will do our best to liaise with you to agree on a suitable charge. Our primary goal is to deliver your order to you as efficiently as possible. Please note that these shipping prices are unfortunately out of our control.

To keep costs minimal for large or heavy items, Art Materials Australia ships bulky items via commercial freighting companies with trucks that ensure efficient and safe delivery. Bulky items cannot be sent via Australia Post or smaller transport companies.

Bulky Order Deliveries and Responsibilities

You must be at the property when bulky orders are scheduled for delivery. If you are not at the property, the courier driver will leave the items in the safest place possible. If no one is at the property and the items are left, Art Materials Australia will not refund stolen boxes. If the driver finds no safe location to leave the items, a re-delivery fee will be charged at the buyer’s expense.

Courier Preferences and Processing Times

If you have a preferred courier, let us know at orders@artmaterialsaustralia.com.au, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Orders are generally processed and dispatched within two to three business days, and delivery times depend on the item’s location.

Bulky and Dangerous Goods Shipping

Bulky or dangerous goods shipped to remote locations may require a custom quote. However, we do our best to stay within the $40.00 and $80.00 zones. Our customer service team will assist you with this.

Tracking and Express Shipping

Tracking numbers are available upon request and are referenced through PayPal.
If you require express delivery, contact us for a quote.

Damaged Items and Returns

Upon receiving your delivery, please inspect your items. If you notice any damage, notify us within three days. Damaged items must be returned at your expense with a valid invoice to qualify for a repair, replacement, or credit note. This process ensures we can quickly resolve any issues.
